What to do if you think the mouth tray doesn't fit properly?
- Make sure the teeth whitening tray fits comfortably before your first use. If required, use scissors to trim away a small amount of material from both ends of the mouth tray.
Approximately how much teeth whitening gel should I use?
- Teeth whitening gel should be dispensed evenly across the upper and lower halves of the tray. Apply an even layer of 0.25 ml of gel to both the upper and lower surfaces of the mouth tray for a total of 0.5 ml. Avoid using more than the recommended amount because doing so may irritate your gums and not produce any further benefits.
How do I reduce sensitivity while using the whitening kit?
- To help reduce sensitivity, you can apply the blue desensitizing gel either before or after your whitening session, depending on your needs:
If you know your teeth are prone to sensitivity:
• Apply a thin layer of the blue desensitizing gel to your teeth before using the regular whitening gel. Gently wipe off any excess gel.
• Wait 10–15 minutes.
• Proceed with the normal whitening treatment (apply whitening gel + use LED light).
If you feel sensitivity after your treatment:
• Rinse your mouth as usual.
• Then apply the blue desensitizing gel directly to your teeth to help soothe and calm sensitivity.
• Do not brush or rinse for 30 minutes.
Can I eat or drink immediately after using the kit?
- It’s best to wait about 30 minutes after using the whitening kit before consuming any food or beverages to allow the gel to set and avoid staining your freshly whitened teeth.
